"It feels amazing to have been able to reopen and expand even in these very challenging times," in August, Joli Boutique moved into a brand new unit in Truro Pannier Market.
Joli Boutique opened after lockdown on 1st August and were fortunate to be able to expand the shop in the Pannier Market to one that’s over twice the size of the original unit and in a prime market location.
With the additional space, they have been able to expand the eco-health and beauty range, plus move into silver jewellery and develop handmade jeweller, hair accessories and the bead counter.
Founder Kimberley Oram told Nub News:
"The first month has been absolutely overwhelming.
"Our new shop has received a fantastic reception in the market and it’s been wonderful to see our lovely customers both old and new, local and visiting. It’s been such a pleasure to be back trading, our new product range has gone down very well and We have more in store as we approach the Autumn and of course, Xmas is around the corner.
"As everybody has had to, we have had to adapt our offer due to the pandemic and the business direction has changed course. Before the pandemic we were about to move into a different unit which was to become a crafting & creative hub, however, the predominant face to face nature of this plan is not viable in the current climate.
"Our new unit, however, is perfect for us and the new opportunities it brings are very exciting. The Pannier Market is a fantastic place to trade from for so many reasons, it’s a close-knit community in itself and of course, it’s market day 6 days a week in Truro.
"Joli boutique is just one of the independent businesses under the Pannier roof, we are all beginning to gear up for Christmas now that the Summer is beginning to draw to a close, with lots of new pieces planned, from personalised artwork to handcrafted metal stamped jewellery, Joli Boutique and the rest of the market really has something for everyone."
