Truro cinema, The Plaza, has today announced it will be reopening next month.

The city's cinema will be reopening its doors to the public on Friday 17th July.

In a statement, a spokesperson for The Plaza said:

"We are delighted to say we will be reopening on Friday 17th July. Our teams have been working hard to make our cinemas even safer.

"We’ll be announcing our lineup of films very soon, we’ll be starting with some of the best films from the months before we closed, along with some real favourites from a little further back, ahead of some of the great new releases coming up including Tenet, Mulan and A Quiet Place Part Two.

"We’re very excited to be back and we look forward to welcoming you very soon."
