Fire crews called out to tackle early morning shed fire near Truro

Fire crews were scrambled in the early hours of this morning after numerous reports of a large shed fire at Trethewell, St just-in-Roseland.

Two appliances from St Mawes Community Fire Station and assistance from Truro Community Fire Station were mobilised to the fire which involved a shed measuring 3m by 5m.

A Cornwall Fire and Rescue spokesperson said:

"The crew on the scene used two breathing apparatus, two hosereel and one main jet to extinguish the fire and the Truro appliance was no longer required."

The cause was deemed accidental.
